The Introspection of a Girl

Introspection is the examination or observation of one's own mental and emotional processes. You won't find yourself in a day, a week, a month, or even a year. In fact, few people ever truly find themselves. You are always changing. The only constant in the universe is change itself.
Today, I am a 5'2 white latina in grade 11. My passions are rugby, longboarding, writing, and music. They're my escapes, I lose myself within them- the only times I don't have to put up fronts. I hate quitting, and I always give it my all which is why after an hour long game or a full-day board sesh I'm all bloodied and bruised; but that's fine, because in the end it's so worth it. I've been published twice in International writing contests, and there's no better way I can express myself. Music is more difficult to describe. What I listen to depends entirely to what is going on in my life. I'll be listening to Avenged Sevenfold one week, and Snow Patrol the next. Music is another thing that makes me feel whole, ties me right back when I feel like I'm falling apart.
I don't understand people who follow trends for the sake of fitting in. Don't be a lemming, just be yourself. There's no one who can do it better.
